   Set your domain up with Yahoo. The first year is only $9.95 for the first year. They will allow you to purchase 2 years at that price.

   That’s like asking a group of women which pair of jeans is the best…they will all give you different answers for different reasons.

   Godaddy is inexpensive ($8.95 or less per year), but they will try to sell you web hosting. Network Solutions is considered "the" registrar, but they are more geared towards corporate clients where godaddy is more for the average person. I personally don’t like Register.com. They are too expensive and I’ve had issues with domains propogating properly with them.

   Most web hosts unless they are quite large are reselling for one of the top registrars.

   Dreamhost.com is a pretty decent web host for personal sites. I wouldn’t host anything mission critical with them as they’ve had network issues in the past, but their plans have TONS of features. They are also certified as an independent registrar (ie, they aren’t reselling).

   frankly, it doesn’t matter.

   i suggest u sell your domain name instead of holding. looks like the trend these days. for example there’s a buzz about this website, http://wealth.to because the site is selling for 50,000 USD plus. i don’t know how they ask for so much money? what r ur views?

   GoDaddy.com is the most popular site to register domains and with good reason. They are amongst the lowest priced registrar with no minimums. You can do a Yahoo search for "GoDaddy coupons" and save even more. GoDaddy is quick, streamlined, and easy to use. The other registrar that is popular with domainers is Dynadot.com. I have also researched HostMonster.com, and this company also gets rave reviews from its customers. In summary, use GoDaddy or DynaDot for domain registration. This is their specialty and both companies excel in this arena. The same applies with HostGator and HostMonster.
